Overview

The Corner Torpedo Tube was introduced in 0.1. It was the first part specifically created for diagonal ships.

Usage

This part requires bullets. It's designed to shoot up to three torpedoes in quick succession.

As of 0.5.3 RC1.1 it requires anitmatter, power and bullets.

As of 0.5.3 RC2 it can now switch between burst of 1, 3 or 5 shots. As the originally planned sized torpedoes are being introduced with the Torpedo Launcher the torpedoes fired have been changed to mini torpedoes.

As of 0.6.2 it requires anitmatter, power and bullets. It can now fire in different patterns: line, spread or fan. The torpedoes can be set to different yield levels. Level 1-4 are "ordinary" scaling; later levels are 2-level-jumps to reduce complexity.

Building recommendations

  • Build like any other peripheral weapon part.

    • Health was raised from a ratio of 1.5 for armored parts to 3.0, inline with vanilla, which was raised from 2.0 to 3.0 to 4.0 in Cosmoteer 0.14.7.
