The Kinetic Wave Pulse Cannon was introduced in 0.4.6RC3. It's the smaller turreted version of the Isokinetic Cannon with an ample arc of 120.

Overview

Usage

As the wave loses energy as it travels trough space its range is physically limited. The wave will stop propagation at maximum range of about 250.

Building recommendations

  • As a roof mounted turret its firing arc could be obstructed by extending parts on its sides. To maximize the use of its arc its sides should be "clear" for at least one tile.

Changes

  • 0.6.2 Health was raised from a ratio of 1.5 for armored parts to 3.0, inline with vanilla, which was raised from 2.0 to 3.0 to 4.0 in Cosmoteer 0.14.7.
